How do you make black converse more awesome? Add some Avengers symbols, of course! We got these for my six year old and I finally got started fancying them up for him.

I started by cleansing the area with just a damp cloth and letting it dry all the way. Then I painted two coats of black primer on the entire panel I was going to work on to keep the color consistent. I used pencil to outline what I wanted to paint (you can see a faint outline for a Captain America shield higher on the shoe. I'm using acrylic paint and I have a spray sealer that I will coat the whole area with multiple times after I'm done painting to keep it waterproof. This is an experiment, I've never done it before so we'll see how it goes. I'm hoping to work more on the shield in the next couple of days so I'll post another picture soon.
